Portal is a print studio, not a poster mill. Every order is UV-printed here in San Diego, then stretched or paneled and packed by hand.
Aluminum Panel
UV direct-to-panel on aluminum composite. Crisp, weather-stable, with a thin modern edge.
Float-mount standoffs included. Sits ¾″ off the wall.
Acrylic Face
Print face-mounted to polished acrylic. Depth, gloss, and a lit-from-within look.
French cleat. Heavier — we crate it.
Wood Panel
UV on maple plywood. Soft grain at the edges, a quieter object than metal or glass.
Inset French cleat. Solid, hang-ready.
How an order is made

Color-managed file
Each piece is proofed for the substrate. Canvas, aluminum, acrylic, and wood take ink differently — we account for that before the bed moves.

UV flatbed print
Printed in San Diego on a UV flatbed. The ink cures as it lays down, so color sits on the surface instead of soaking in. Sharp type, dense darks, no waiting on dry time.

Finish and hardware
Canvas is stretched on 1.5″ bars as a gallery wrap. Panels are trimmed, finished, and fitted with float-mounts or a French cleat. Hang-ready when it arrives.

Crate and ship
Rigid panels go in custom crates. Canvas ships corner-protected. Typical door-to-door is 5–8 business days in the US. Free packing and shipping over $250.
Sizes
Portrait, landscape, and square each have four sizes. The wall preview on every product page shows the piece against an 8-foot wall and a 7-foot sofa.
